Cavalier Kennels was designed and built to offer a much needed pet retreat in the Shenandoah Valley. We are situated on 6 quiet acres and offer a choice of boarding in a private 4 x 8 Mason Sani-Kennel with hard surface flip down bed and stainless steel front. The kennels are situated so that the dogs don’t face each other and this helps prevent stress. We also have beautiful 8 x 10 suites that are quiet and offer a TV and raised pet bed. The entire facility is fully heated, air conditioned, with a whole building air purification system. The kennels and suites are spread out over three separate areas to ease noise and keep pups comfortable.
We live on site, this means that your dog will have 24/7 attention and care. We have multiple cameras throughout the buildings as well as an alarm/smoke detection system. This system alerts the alarm company as well us in case of any emergency.
Cavalier Kennels offers three half-acre grass play areas with a 6 ft solid fence and all our guests are taken outside 4 times daily starting at 7:30 am and ending at 9:00pm. Our entire kennel has top of the line epoxy flooring and we have a kitchen on site to prepare meals and meet any special dietary needs.
We give all oral medications at no additional charge and can administer injections for $10 per injection.
We are certified in pet CPR and first aid. Your pet’s well-being is our #1 priority.

About Us
Tony & Amy Cavalier started the kennel process in 2007 and opened in July 2008. The kennel was designed and built with the safety and comfort of all pets in mind. Amy is ABKA vet tech & pet CPR/first aid certified, prior military with years of human resource experience. Tony built houses for many years and designed and built our lovely facility. This building was truly a labor of love and we couldn’t imagine a more wonderful job, Tony & Amy have a beautiful daughter Olivia & three awesome labs Eve, Lulu and Bisbee.
